Melanie Navarro was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals for Lindsay. Another player making a difference was Ava Ayon, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Orange Cove bumped their record down to 0-18 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lindsay, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange Cove will challenge Orosi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lindsay, they will head out on the road to square off against Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Strathmore sitting on four straight wins and Lindsay on three.
