When it comes to explaining why Livermore lost, one person who can't be blamed is Angie Bhatia. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points. Bhatia scored a full 50% of Livermore's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaylinne Pacheco, who scored six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Livermore and nudges their season record down to 3-12. As for Tracy, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Livermore will be playing in front of their home fans against Irvington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Irvington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Livermore in California (Irvington is ranked 269th, while Livermore is ranked 1069th). Tracy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tokay at 7:30 p.m. on January 4th. Tokay is on a five-game streak of home losses, Tracy a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
