They enjoyed a cozy 57-40 win over Liberty Ranch. That result was just more of the same for these two, as El Dorado also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Alana Schneider, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 26 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 15 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Priest, who scored 11 points along with six assists.
When it comes to explaining why Liberty Ranch lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sophia Felix. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Madisyn Robbins was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
El Dorado is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Liberty Ranch, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5.
El Dorado will head out on the road to face off against Bradshaw Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradshaw Christian has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 27. As for Liberty Ranch, they will be playing at home against Rosemont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rosemont will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 886th, while Liberty Ranch is ranked 302nd).
