Nebraska Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Nebraska Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for Burwell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nebraska Christian will challenge the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Elba is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Burwell, they will head out on the road to face off against the Red Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
