Ridgewood blew Elmwood Park out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Elmwood Park got their revenge. The Rebels fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-3. The Rebels' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ridgewood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manny Ocampo, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Elmwood Park, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-7-1.

While Ridgewood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
