The Flintridge Prep Wolves will head out to square off against the Monrovia Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Flintridge Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
Flintridge Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Chadwick 17-2 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Nicholas Aparicio was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Flintridge Prep's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-3 (and 4-8 when he doesn't). Nathan Sanok was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Flintridge Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Monrovia ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over San Marino.
Wyatt Barrier got the start for Monrovia and what a start it was: he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Barrier has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Braydon Blackmore was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Huelster, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
Flintridge Prep's record now sits at 10-11. As for Monrovia, their record is now 16-5-1.
Flintridge Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Monrovia in their previous meeting back in February, winning 5-2. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
