North Springs came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Northview Titans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 last Monday.

Kate Lott spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits.

At the plate, Jordan Masker and Jamie Masker did most of the damage at the plate: Jordan went 1-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Jamie went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits Jamie has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Leila Madesko, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

North Springs' record is now 5-7. As for Northview, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, North Springs will host St. Pius X Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northview, they will challenge Norcross at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
