Baseball Recap: Ganesha Has No Trouble Against Workman

Ganesha got themselves on the board against Workman on Thursday, but Workman never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Workman Lobos as they made off with a 25-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Giants in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won four in a row.

Jacob Delgado looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low.

At the plate, Ganesha got a massive performance out of Gavin Moran, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce McIninch, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Ganesha kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Ganesha's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Workman, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ganesha will venture away from home to challenge Bassett at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bassett has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.83 runs per game on average), something Ganesha will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Workman, they will face off against La Puente at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
