Ryan French made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.
