Wilde Lake has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Howard Lions at TBD on Wednesday. One thing working in Wilde Lake's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six games.
Wilde Lake pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 66-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Atholton.
Meanwhile, even though Atholton scored an imposing 56 points on Wednesday, Howard still came out on top. Howard snuck past Atholton with a 61-56 win.
Wilde Lake's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Howard, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Wilde Lake couldn't quite finish off Howard when the teams last played back in January and fell 65-63. Can Wilde Lake avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
