Maryland High School Basketball - Wilde Lake nips Howard
February 14, 2024: Columbia, MD 21044 Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), 62-60 in a league bout.
With the win, Wilde Lake upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season.
Next up, the Lions play the Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 2-19 record after their 76-45 league win over Allegany (Cumberland, MD).
