In what's become a running theme this season, the Patterson Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 53-13 win over Golden Valley at home. The victory was familiar territory for Patterson who now have four in a row.
Patterson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taylor Mason led the charge by scoring 12 points along with two steals. Mason is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Siena Musson, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Patterson pushed their record up to 26-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Golden Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-22.
Patterson will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully St. Francis focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. Golden Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
