Minnehaha Academy led Tri-Metro - West in scoring this week after putting up 63 points on St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy.
St. Paul Academy-Summit/Mounds Park Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Michael O'Shea has thrown for 488 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Nick Hoffmann has 17 catches for 216 yards. David Ristau leads the league in rushing with 279 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when DeLaSalle takes on the Red Hawks. The Islanders are in first place, while Minnehaha Academy is in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when DeLaSalle takes on Ron Monson's team. Sean Mcmenomy's team has allowed 85 points this season, while the Red Hawks have given up 121. The Islanders allowed 7 points last week as they defeated Blake.
Breck made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,422 from 12,673. The advance stemmed from a 34-9 victory over the Mustangs last week.
