Amistad's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Fatema Thomas, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Thomas has scored at least 25% of Amistad's points. Another player making a difference was LaShaya Patterson , who dropped a triple-double on ten points, ten rebounds, and ten blocks.
East Lyme's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Amistad, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
East Lyme will be home for the holidays to greet New London at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New London is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Amistad, they will head out on the road to face off against Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
