Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, The Woodlands couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost to the Klein Collins Tigers on the road by a 42-27 margin on Saturday. The Highlanders' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, The Woodlands still got an impressive performance from Jack Daulton, who threw for 198 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown.

Klein Collins got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Braydon Schoggin out in front who threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and one score. That's the most passing touchdowns Schoggin has posted since back in September of 2024. Ty'Drick Finley was another key player, gaining 175 total yards.

The Woodlands' defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Klein Collins, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

As of now, neither The Woodlands nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
