Elbert County extended their winning streak to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 19-3. They blew past the Providence Christian Academy Storm 10-2. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by eight runs or more this season.

As for Providence Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-11 record. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Providence Christian Academy's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophie Perry, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Elbert County is set to face off against their familiar foe Banks County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Devils 3, the Leopards 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Providence Christian Academy will take on rival Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
