The Twiggs Academy Trojans won against the Windsor Academy Knights last Thursday with 47 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Twiggs Academy came out on top against Windsor Academy by a score of 47-38. Winning may never get old, but Twiggs Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Twiggs Academy was led to victory by Megan Favors and Raigan Gilbert. Favors scored ten points along with seven assists and four steals, while Gilbert dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gilbert has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Lavender, who scored four points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Twiggs Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Windsor Academy, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-12.
