Linn-Mar won the last time they faced Mid-Prairie and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions blew past the Golden Hawks 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Linn-Mar and bumps their season record up to 23-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Mid-Prairie, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Linn-Mar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Dallas Center-Grimes on the 28th. Mid-Prairie has also already played their next contest (against Lisbon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
