The Granada Hills Charter Highlanders and the Flintridge Prep Wolves will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Granada Hills Charter is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
On Thursday, Granada Hills Charter was beaten by Hart 64-37.
Despite their loss, Granada Hills Charter saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Brigita Bulotaite, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bulotaite has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karma Paez, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Flintridge Prep came tearing into Thursday's game with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down Crescenta Valley 63-46. 63 seems to be a good number for Flintridge Prep as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Granada Hills Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Flintridge Prep, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.
Granada Hills Charter came up short against Flintridge Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2019, falling 49-40. Can Granada Hills Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
