Milpitas has gone 9-1 against Lynbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Milpitas barely beat Saratoga the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Falcons a 19-0 shutout on Thursday. With that win, the Trojans brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Ian Ostrander made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other batting news, Milpitas got a big performance out of Matthew Osuna, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave Osuna a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cashius Bracamonte-Nool, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Milpitas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Lynbrook made easy work of Harker on Saturday and carried off a 9-3 victory. With that win, the Vikings brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Cameron Chao looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Noah Bowers was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Sisir Malasani was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Lynbrook's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-9. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Milpitas, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Milpitas has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lynbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Milpitas got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 against Lynbrook by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
