Willits won the last time they faced Credo and things went their way on Friday too. The Willits Wolverines came out on top against the Credo Gryphon by a score of 42-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Willits to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lyly Herman, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Arion Martin, who had 12 points.

Several Gryphon players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reilly Fay, who put up 14 points. Viola Palladini was another key player, putting up nine points.

Willits' victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Credo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willits will welcome Roseland Collegiate Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Credo, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Elsie Allen at 5:30 p.m.
