The Turlock Bulldogs waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Enochs 49-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Turlock also won the last time the pair played on January 9th.
Turlock got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Walker out in front who scored 12 points along with five steals. Walker is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in the last three games she's played. Lexie Franco was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Defeat or not, Enochs got some senior leadership from Natalie Quinones and Gurleen Gill. Quinones dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Gill. scored five points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Quinones is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
Enochs struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Turlock posted nine assists.
Turlock is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season. As for Enochs, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Gregori the next time they take the court. Turlock will host the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th.
