Kaleb Fox Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 Marshfield was led to victory by  Kaleb Fox, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Fox rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 With the  win, Marshfield broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5. Fox and Marshfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Hidden Valley  at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday.

Baldwin Came Up Big in Mazama's  34-7  Win
 Mazama found a leader in  Kristopher Baldwin as the  team took down Hidden Valley on Friday. Baldwin was unstoppable, rushing for 242 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry.
 The  win  got Mazama back to even at 3-3. Baldwin and Mazama will challenge North Bend on Friday.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Hadyn Widdicombe Leads Marshfield over Ashland
 Marshfield was led to victory by  Hadyn Widdicombe, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Widdicombe picked up 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.
 For the season,  Widdicombe  has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 48 receiving yards per game.

Lucas Folau Puts an End to Marshfield's Losing Streak  on Friday
 Thanks in part to  Lucas Folau, Marshfield said goodbye to their six-game losing streak  dating back to last season. Folau was dynamite on Friday, picking up  two  sacks, forcing a fumble,  and making seven total tackles. He is  on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made six or more in the last four games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Folau must have Ashland's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When  Folau last faced the Grizzlies  back in October of 2023, he picked up  two  sacks, forced a fumble,  and made five total tackles.

Brody Van Gastel Makes It Two for Mazama
 The second Mazama player making an appearance here is  Brody Van Gastel, and for good reason. He rushed for 62 yards, and also threw for 62 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making four total tackles and defending a pass.
 For the season,  Van Gastel  has thrown 6 touchdowns while averaging 80.5 passing yards per game.
