Segerstrom really took it to Avalon for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-10 win on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-2.
Faith Ledesma continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with 4 steals and 3 blocks. Ledesma is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Stephanie Valenciano, who scored 10 points.
Segerstrom's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Avalon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Segerstrom will take on Los Amigos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Avalon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newport Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 11th.
