Cj Johnson's Big Game Leads Springwood over Macon-East Montgomery Academy
Starting off the list is Springwood's Cj Johnson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Johnson rushed for 423 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 90-yard run.
Johnson is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against North River Christian on Friday. Johnson rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries the last time he and the Chargers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Sam Wallace Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sam Wallace posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He wasn't messing around, rushing for 230 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 125 yards and a touchdown. The game was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards.
Macon-East Montgomery Academy moved to 6-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. Wallace and Macon-East Montgomery Academy will challenge Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caleb Cole Delivers Best Effort of Season
Southern Prep Academy was led to victory by Caleb Cole, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Cole picked up 179 receiving yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 55 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 receiving yards.
Unfortunately for Meadowview Christian, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cole. When Cole last faced the Trojans back in November of 2023, he picked up 263 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Zeke Adams and Co. Win Tenth in a Row
Zeke Adams's big game helped extend Cornerstone Christian's winning streak to ten on Friday. Adams turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 122 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 137 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards.
Cornerstone Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Adams and Cornerstone Christian are on the road again on Friday to play Macon-East Montgomery Academy at 7:00 p.m.

Markevean Johnson Delivers Electric Effort Vs Cornerstone Christian
Rounding off our Top Five is Markevean Johnson of Evangel Christian Academy. Johnson made ten total tackles and defended two passes.
This is the second loss in a row for Evangel Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-4. Johnson and Evangel Christian Academy have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
