This season hasn't been kind to the North White Vikings, who are still winless after their fifth matchup. They took a 33-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Delphi Community on Saturday. North White lost against Delphi Community in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-38 score last time.
Despite the defeat, North White had strong showings from Autumn Reif, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds, and Morgan Carter, who scored 11 points.
Jenna Roth was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points.
North White's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Delphi Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North White will take on Tri-County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Tri-County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for Delphi Community, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fountain Central at 7:30 p.m. Fountain Central is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
