The Magnolia Sentinels scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Century 97-2 on the road. Magnolia has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.
Teresa Martinez was her usual excellent self, scoring 69 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abril Ortega, who scored ten points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Magnolia and bumps their season record up to 11-4. As for Century, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Magnolia will take on Savanna at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Savanna is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Century, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Western at 4:30 p.m. on January 10th. Western is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
