Nueva Esperanza won the last time they faced Hill Freedman World Academy, and things went their way on Monday too. Nueva Esperanza came out on top against Hill Freedman World Academy by a score of 34-25.
Nueva Esperanza was led to victory by Destiny Santiago and Glorivee Moreno. Santiago scored 12 points, while Moreno scored 12 points. The match was Santiago 's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayana Burgos , who scored six points.
Nueva Esperanza's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Hill Freedman World Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Parkway West the next time they take the court. Nueva Esperanza will host Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while Hill Freedman World Academy will head out to face them at 3:15 p.m. on January 22nd.
