Belvidere won the last time they faced Rockford East and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bucs had just enough and edged out the E-Rabs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bucs.

Belvidere had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Belvidere's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Rockford East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Belvidere will challenge rival Boylan Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockford East is set to square off against their familiar foe Rockford Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
