University Pathways Medical Magnet's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camila Alcaraz, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 rebounds and nine blocks. Alcaraz hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Gianna Benitez, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
University Pathways Medical Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Animo Robinson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-2.
