The Trinity Christian Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. The game between Trinity Christian and Prestonwood Christian wasn't particularly close, with Trinity Christian falling 66-47. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1009th, while Prestonwood Christian is ranked 90th).
Londyn Oliphant continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Prestonwood Christian, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Oliphant hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Kennedy Price was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Trinity Christian's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-14. As for Prestonwood Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will take on Nolan Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Prestonwood Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Parish Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
