There's no place like home for Fort Dodge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Iowa City Little Hawks on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Dodgers, who have now won 16 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Fort Dodge's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Iowa City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Fort Dodge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Ankeny on the 28th. As for Iowa City, they will square off against Cedar Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
