They walked away with a 49-41 victory over Arcata. For St. Bernard's, this counts as revenge for the 53-50 loss Arcata walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
St. Bernard's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Madelyn Shanahan led the charge by scoring 17 points. Laila Florvilus was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
St. Bernard's has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Arcata, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
