Demopolis got themselves on the board against Selma on Friday, but Selma never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Saints. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Demopolis, bringing their record up to 11-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Selma, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Demopolis will venture away from home to take on Montevallo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Selma, they will host Southside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Southside has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
