The Trinity Wolves won the last time they faced the Etna Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Trinity blew past Etna 45-23. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Trinity.
Trinity had a senior duo take command as Hazel DeLange scored ten points along with three steals and Chloe Albiez scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Kloe Kist, who scored eight points.
Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Etna, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.
Trinity will be playing at home against Durham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Trinity focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday. As for Etna, they will head out on the road to square off against Biggs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Etna is coming into the contest with four straight losses on the road, meaning Biggs will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
