The Clarion Area Bobcats lost against the North Clarion Wolves back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Clarion Area took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Clarion. Clarion Area has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taylor Alston, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gia Babington, who scored 11 points.
Clarion Area now has a losing record at 1-2. As for North Clarion, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarion Area will take on Union at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Saturday. As for North Clarion, they will head out on the road to face off against Moniteau at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
