The El Diamante Miners can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 72-49 margin over Redwood. 72 seems to be a good number for El Diamante as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Neveah Creason was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reyna Soto, who scored nine points.
The win makes it two in a row for El Diamante and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Redwood, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
El Diamante will face off against Hanford at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hanford will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something El Diamante surely won't give up without a fight. As for Redwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Porterville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Porterville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
