Basketball Game Preview: Plumas Charter Warriors vs. Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars

Plumas Charter is 3-0 against Paradise Adventist Academy since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Plumas Charter Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars at 4:30 p.m. Plumas Charter is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Plumas Charter is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Hoopa Valley on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Plumas Charter had to suffer through a 76-14 loss at the hands of Hoopa Valley. Plumas Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.

Plumas Charter's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaycee Pew, who posted seven points and 15 rebounds, and Amaiya Beatty, who earned four points. Pew is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played.

Even though they lost, Plumas Charter smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in ten consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Paradise Adventist Academy can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game back in December of 2024. They walked away with a 37-25 win over Elk Creek.

Paradise Adventist Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Plumas Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
