It was a good run, but the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 67-56 to Jacksonville Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jesse Gannaway, who scored 37 points along with six rebounds and four steals for Jacksonville Christian Academy. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Lee, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Alabama School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alabama School for the Deaf's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will challenge the Conquerors on Friday. Coosa Christian is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
