Eli Leibowitz was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Leibowitz wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Yehosha Roth, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those hits were Roth's first of the season.

Valley Torah's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Santa Clarita Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Valley Torah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Santa Clarita Christian, they have already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Palmdale on the 7th.
