The Red Cloud Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They secured a 56-51 W over Blue Hill. This was payback for Red Cloud, who suffered a 32-30 loss the last time these two teams met.
Logan Brown was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Kari Kucera was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Red Cloud pushed their record up to 9-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Blue Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.
Red Cloud will head out on the road to face off against Heartland Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Hill, they will be playing at home against Lawrence-Nelson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lawrence-Nelson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on January 4th.
