After a string of three wins, the Brashear Bulls's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 44-36 to Obama Academy of International Studies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brashear of the 68-51 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.
Several Bulls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ra'Nyah Morris, who scored 14 points along with five steals. Morris hasn't dropped below three steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Sherrill, who scored 15 points.
Brashear's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Obama Academy of International Studies, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Brashear and Perry Traditional Academy will face off at 3:15 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Brashear focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. Obama Academy of International Studies does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
