The Analy Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 40-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Montgomery. While losing is never fun, Analy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 378th, while Montgomery is ranked 119th).
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Rosenberg, who scored 11 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rosenberg has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawnessy Conway-O'Neill, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Analy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Montgomery, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-6.
Analy will take on Ukiah at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ukiah is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Montgomery, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cardinal Newman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
