The Franklin Knights will be playing at home against the Conneaut Area Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday.
After a string of three wins, Franklin's good fortune finally ran out. They took a 39-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warren. Franklin has struggled against the Dragons recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Katie Boal put forth a good effort for the losing side as she almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Boal is crushing the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kirsten Hicks, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Conneaut Area scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Meadville 53-14 on the road. The victory was just what Conneaut Area needed coming off of a 52-30 defeat in their prior game.
Franklin's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. As for Conneaut Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
