Softball Recap: Sequoyah Wins Going Away Against Quapaw

Sequoyah won the last time they faced Quapaw and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians blew past the Wildcats 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Sequoyah is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Quapaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Sequoyah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Westville on the 9th. As for Quapaw, they will take on Adair at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
