The Sonora Raiders waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Troy 59-40. That's another feather in the cap for Sonora, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Kiana Graham, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Amiah Lewis was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Sonora's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Troy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.
Sonora will stay at home for another game and welcome La Habra at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. As for Troy, they will head out on the road to face off against Sunny Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Sunny Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Tuesday.
