Fresno is 2-8 against Roosevelt since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Fresno Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 3:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fresno comes in on five and Roosevelt on four.
Fresno posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Madera South as Fresno made off with a 45-19 victory. Given Fresno's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while Madera South is ranked 761st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Roosevelt didn't have too much trouble with McLane on the road on Thursday as they won 55-39.
Fresno has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Roosevelt, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
Fresno was dealt a bruising 58-24 defeat at the hands of Roosevelt in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Fresno avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
