Basketball Recap: Episcopal Academy Has No Trouble Against Great Valley

Episcopal Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-29 victory over the Great Valley Patriots.

Episcopal Academy found their leader in sophomore Kate Boerner, who posted 12 points and five steals. Boerner is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Kehl, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Episcopal Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Great Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Episcopal Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-41 defeat against Garnet Valley on the 28th. As for Great Valley, they will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against Boyertown at 11:30 a.m.
