Treutlen lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Telfair County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. Treutlen put the hurt on Telfair County with a sharp 9-1 victory on Friday. Considering the Vikings have won six games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Caden Parrish spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up six Ks. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Peyton Miller, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Acie Dickens, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles.

Miller wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Treutlen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Treutlen's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Telfair County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Treutlen will welcome Dublin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Telfair County, they will host Atkinson County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
