With a playoff win on the line, Frederick rose to the challenge on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 54-14 victory over the Magruder Colonels. Considering the Cadets have won four games by more than 22 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Frederick had a senior duo take command as Miles Robinson threw for 231 yards and two TDs while completing 76.2% of his passes and Nas Jones gained 178 total yards and two touchdowns. Robinson's passing game has become a key predictor of the Cadets' success: the team is 5-2 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-3 otherwise.
Frederick was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 229 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
